Snow tubing is one of the easiest ways for the whole family to enjoy a winter afternoon in the mountains, no skis or lessons required.

Sage runs a dedicated snow tubing hill near Vail. You ride in a raft that a snowmobile tows back to the top after every run, so there's no hiking back up. Choose the gentle green run for little ones or the longer blue run for more speed, then warm up with hot chocolate in the seating area at the bottom. Sessions last about an hour and are open to ages 3 and up. Helmets are required and provided if you don't bring your own.
